Lead foil tape 420 is backed with a rubber adhesive, offering excellent conformability in a variety of application conditions.
Aluminum foil tape 425 and 427 are 5 mil nominal dead soft aluminum foil backing combined with a transparent acrylic adhesive. 3M aluminum foil tape 427 offers an easy-release liner.
Copper foil tape 1181 Tape consists of a 1-ounce deadsoft copper foil backing and a unique electrically conductive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. 1194 Tape consists of a 1-ounce deadsoft copper foil backing and an aggressive nonconductive pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.
The metallic foil backing of the die-cut EMI shielding foil tapes controls electromagnetic interference (EMI) and provides conductivity. These die-cut EMI shielding tapes feature backing materials such as aluminum foil, aluminum foil laminated with polyester film, copper foil, or embossed foil.
